7 Day Metabolic Cleanse and Reset

Hello! My name is Ellen Kittredge, and I’m a Health Coach and Nutritional Counselor, with 17 years of experience helping clients feel better in their bodies and reclaim good health!
For 15+ years I’ve been offering Food Based Cleansing Programs, both 21 Day and more recently, 7 Day Programs. I consider these to be explorations into healthy eating to see what eating real food can do for the body, mind and spirit!

The focus this time will be on a metabolic reset, as metabolic issues (think weight gain around the middle, high cholesterol, increasing blood sugars, higher than normal blood pressure readings), are an early sign of more serious things to come (diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimers, depression, obesity and cancer among other concerns). Some estimates are that well over a third of Americans are in this category.
Worldwide, according to Dr Mark Hyman, poor metabolic health is the largest cause of early death.

More foods we CAN eat including organic pasture-raised eggs, and for folks who eat fully plant based, organic tofu. In the past I’ve restricted these foods because they are common allergens, however the focus with this Metabolic Cleanse will be on getting clean protein in on the daily, and so I’m expanding into these two foods to allow for this option (if you wish!).

Detox and the Metabolism
Did you know that scientists have determined that most people are carrying 700 contaminants in their bodies? These chemicals have been linked to all kinds of damage including cancer, high blood pressure, memory problems, immune dysfunction, attention deficit disorder, and more.
In my 21 Day Cleanses that I’ve been running for 15+ years, I’ve seen so many incredible health transformations, just from lightening the load for a little while through easing up on the digestion, reducing inflammatory foods, and letting the body go through a normal, healthy, food-based detox.
I’ve also witnessed clients experiencing a return to normal lab values, including reductions in blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol values. Simple Self-Massage Techniques to Support (Women’s) Health
Lymphatic flow in the breasts, lower GI Tract and reproductive organs is vital to prevent disease and to bolster fertility. Between long periods of sitting and/or jarring movements from vigorous exercise, it is easy for the uterus to shift out of alignment. This can inhibit the flow of blood and lymph to the pelvic organs as well as the uterus. Tight bras, underwires and lack of movement can create congestion in the lymphatic system with the breasts. Self-massage decongests the lymphatic system and moves lymph.
